We are Andrea and Craig from Cape Town, South Africa and Forres, Scotland.

We first met working on a super-yacht under construction in Germany. After a couple of visits back to Scotland together, Andrea simply couldn't resist the charm of the Scottish landscapes and we made the easy decision that this is where we'd settle down. We were fortunate enough to purchase Longhill Mill (with the Barley Mill) in December 2020. And the opportunity to take over the Barley Mill holiday cottage from the previous owners, Fiona and Ewan, was the icing on the cake! Our history of working on yachts, lended itself perfectly to take on this new venture.

We simply cannot wait to meet new and old friends at The Barley Mill and hope you will enjoy it as much as we do!
